Day 6: Quick Post w/ Fieldwork Photos

It was a good day in the field.  The weather was chilly for us, especially for us Marylanders accustomed to warm humid weather this time of year. Luckily, interesting stuff popped up in all units as we began to work our way below soils  we interpret as modern dumping or fill.  I will ask the crew to expand on this tomorrow. The find of the day was not an object but a soil stain that indicated that we might be seeing the footprint of architectural remnants. More on this tomorrow!  For now, here are some photos from today:
